YOUR UVA JOURNEY BEGINS NOW
Summer Orientation offers an opportunity for students and their guests to visit Grounds and get acclimated to University life. Students and their guests will have the chance to experience the rich diversity of life on Grounds, and guests can gain a better understanding of the resources available to their students at UVA as well as the University's academic life.

School of Data Science Information Session: Newcomb Hall South Meeting Room
The School of Data Science is the University’s newest school, committed to teaching and practicing responsible data science for the common good. Our B.S. in Data Science is a three-year curriculum designed to prepare its graduates to become experts in the field and work at the cutting edge of a new discipline in career paths across public and private industry. First-year students may apply in their second semester. This session will help you learn more about the major, its prerequisites, and the application process. We also offer a Minor in Data Science and graduate programs. Students and their families interested in ways to pursue a data science education at UVA are encouraged to attend this session.
