Submit Your UVA ID Photo

The University ID Card is your passport to the University of Virginia.  It provides you access to facilities across the Grounds and allows you to obtain services from Dining locations, the University Bookstores, Cavalier Computers, Student Health & Wellness, Laundry locations and more.

Available: 24 to 72 hours after completing all the steps from the Student IT Checklist

Deadline: Before you register for Summer Orientation

Register for Summer Orientation

Once you've completed the first two steps, access your New Student Portal and reserve your spot in Summer Orientation.
