Hi Class of 2027 and new transfer students! My name is Maya Johnson, and I am from Alexandria, VA. I am a rising third year in the School of Education and Human Development majoring in Youth & Social Innovation with a Religious Studies minor. At UVA, I am a part of the Education Council, Co-Events Chair for the Youth & Social Innovation Executive Board, member of the steering committee for Seeds4Change, member of the Psychological Society, and a volunteer for Virginia Ambassadors. When I am not running around from meetings and classes, I enjoy going on walks around Charlottesville, rewatching shows that I have watched hundreds of times, eating at Got Dumplings, and going to every and any sports games.
