Welcome new HOOS!! My name is Akon Awuok and I am a rising second year from Rochester, New York. Although I originally came in as a nursing major, I’m currently in the process of switching to pre-commerce! Other than being a part of Orientation & New Student Programs, I am also a member of AKPsi (the oldest and largest business fraternity to current date), and I would love to answer any specific questions you may have regarding these topics, as well as any other questions you may have! And besides the typical hanging out and going out with friends I love spending a lot (like a lot) of my time at the gym in my free time. I also love getting to meet new people and making lasting connections, so I’m really looking forward to getting to meet a lot of you as you start your journey at UVA!
