Hey everyone, my name is Riley Layman and I am going to be a fourth year in the School of Architecture in the fall. I am majoring in urban & environmental planning and I am originally from Fairfax, VA. I spent my freshman year of college at Virginia Commonwealth University before transferring to UVA in the fall of 2020. On grounds, I am involved in the Recruitment Committee for Transfer Advisory Board, Student Ambassadors at the School of Architecture, CHAARG, and various intramural sports teams. Off grounds, I like indoor gardening, reality television, hiking, and hanging out with my cat. I also spend a lot of time at work at Carter Mountain Orchard and doing remote work for my environmental hazard mitigation consulting internship. In addition to all of this, I love being a TSPA. Not only do I want to help you out with your transition to UVA, but I am here as a friend as well.
