Park at the Emmett/Ivy Garage and shuttle to Old Cabell Hall, where you will check in for orientation, enjoy a continental breakfast, and meet the UVA Orientation Leaders.

Bouncing Back: Stories of Resilience and Strategies for Thriving

A student's first year at UVA will be loaded with opportunities for fulfillment and fun. However, there will also be unexpected twists, turns, and some disappointments. In this session you will hear about students who experienced some typical setbacks and how they successfully navigated their adjustment to college life at UVA.

Dean's Address

Meet with a dean from your school of enrollment to learn about academic requirements. Work with Orientation Leaders and faculty advisors to build your fall course schedule. If available, be sure to bring credit evaluation of transcripts, SAT II, AP, IB and language placement exam scores. Students in the College of Arts & Sciences MUST bring a hard copy/printed version of courses you have pre-selected in the Student Information System (SIS) and placed in your shopping cart.

Money Matters: Student Financial Services at UVA

UVA ID Card Pick-Up

2:15-5:00 p.m.
Newcomb Pavilion XI (Level 1)

Students will pick up their University ID during this time. One form of government issued ID (US driver's license, state-issued ID card, passport, or US military ID) is required to pick-up your UVA ID. Expired IDs, photocopies and school-issued IDs are not accepted.
