2018 Mid-Year Orientation

January 16, 2018 Schedule

8:30 – 10:30 a.m.: On-Grounds Housing Move-In and Key Pick Up*

Housing & Residence Life Office, Gibbons House (425 Tree House Drive)

*Only for students living in University Housing on Grounds. Students must have University ID cards in order to retrieve their keys.

8:30 – 10:30 a.m.: ID Card Pick Up

ID Office, ground floor of Observatory Hill Dining Hall (O-Hill)

The entrance to the ID office is on the McCormick Road side of the building.

Please remember to bring your original valid government-issued picture identification card (either your U.S. driver's license issued by DMV, U.S. identification card issued by DMV, U.S. permanent resident/U.S. Department of Homeland Security/U.S. green card, passport, or U.S. military ID card) to obtain your ID. No photocopies accepted.

9:30 – 10:30 a.m.: ITS Set-Up

Newcomb Commonwealth Room

If you would like help setting up your laptop or tablet on the University network, please bring it to this session. Representatives from Information Technology Services (ITS) will be on hand to help.

11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Mid-Year Orientation Program

Overview of Academic Requirements and Course Selection
  • Transfer Students: Monroe 130 with Elizabeth Ozment, Association Dean for Transfer Students
  • London First Students: Monroe 110 with Sandy Seidel, Association Dean
  • New Student Athletes: Monroe 114 with Rachel Most, Associate Dean
